With over two decades of experience across advertising, luxury branding, and outbound travel, Lily brings a rare cross-disciplinary perspective to the industry.
Her background spans global media, luxury fashion, and China’s high-end travel sector, shaping a deep understanding of brand building, cultural nuance, and the expectations of discerning travelers.
Founded in 2017, JALI reflects Lily’s long-term vision: to connect exceptional travel brands with the Chinese market through strategy, discretion, and enduring partnerships.
Melissa Cheng
CO-FOUNER
With over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Melissa specializes in luxury travel and market development.
Previously, as Assistant Director of Sales at The Peninsula Hotels Group, she developed and executed sales strategies that delivered consistent year-on-year growth across the Regional Sales Office.
Prior to Peninsula, Melissa was a key member of the pre-entry team introducing The LUX* Collective’s luxury resorts to the Chinese market, including destinations such as the Maldives and Mauritius. Her contributions supported the brand’s establishment across the Asia Pacific region, further shaping her expertise in brand strategy and new brand positioning.
Melissa now leads luxury travel sales at JALI Representation, working closely with partners to deliver thoughtful strategies and long-term value.
